
Who is Shobhaa?
Over the past 31 years I have been a homemaker and spent time taking care of my family and my children as they were growing up. I have always been very passionate about cooking and trying out dishes for which I have always found ardent admirers among my children and their friends. I find immense joy in feeding people, it's my way of showing love and connecting with those around me.
How it started...
If you could peek into any South Indian household you will know that Podi's have always been a part of our life.
I have grown up watching my grandmother and my mother spend hours in the process of making the perfect blends of podi's for all our meals.
I finally decided to embark upon my journey with my own brand during the lockdown. One afternoon while on my regular afternoon laze ,the idea just struck!
I wanted to be able to share my love for food with everyone, and what better way than to do it with the very own recipes that I have grown up eating.
My process
As a homemaker I know the importance of the quality of food that we want our loved ones to eat. As a brand I make sure the Podis are made using organic ingredients, and prepared in small batches to maintain its freshness.
Each ingredient is individually slow roasted, with patience and care. They are cooled to room temperature, ground in small batches and mixed together to give a beautiful nutty -like flavor.
